REMAKING MY OUTDOOR CURTAINS

Hello, there!
I hope your week is going well.

Before I continue with this post, I want to wish you all a very, very

Hope you have lots of fun today. Don't eat too much candy! :)

Been really busy around here trying to finish some projects and still keep up with every day life.
One of those projects is to remake my outdoor curtains.
As soon as the back porch got a new coat of paint, the old curtains didn't look so good anymore.
It has been over five years since I made them, so I guess I got my money's worth.

Once again I purchased all the drop cloth I will need for eight panels, but this time around I am making them a little different. I decided to use grommets.
I bought the grommets in bronze finish since the rods we already had up there are that same color.

When I first made them I used rings to hang them and although I really like the way they look,
it proved to be a real pain.
You see, we live in a corner lot with not many buildings around us, so when that wind gets to blowing, it kept pulling the clip rings right off the curtains.
Not fun!

So I did a little research and found some great inspiration pictures from Pottery Barn.

So I have all my supplies ready and I am going to give it a try.
Never installed grommets in my life, so I hope this works. Wish me luck! :) I will keep you posted.

I will be back tomorrow with the most viewed links of this week Tuesdays at Our Home.
Enjoy your day!
